+# Aukio workspace
+
+Aggregator for the Aukio projects. Each project is an independent git
+repo; this repo versions only the workspace glue (the Maven aggregator
+pom and this README).
+

+## Usage
+
+- Build everything: `mvn install` in this directory (reactor order is
+  dependency-aware: aukio-3d → aukio → demos → fo4).
+- Open this directory in IntelliJ IDEA — the Maven import creates one
+  module per project with correct source roots and dependencies.
+- Adding a new project: create its repo here, add one `<module>` line
+  to `pom.xml`. IntelliJ re-imports automatically on the pom change.
+
+The `.gitignore` ignores every directory by default so project repos
+can never be swallowed into this repo by accident; whitelist new
+workspace-level files explicitly.
